Soldiers Offload Tents And Relief Supplies To Be Delivered To Villages

This footage shows soldiers of the Turkish Armed Forces being hard at work as they continue delivering relief materials to citizens living in earthquake-affected villages.

Dozens of crew members can be seen offloading a Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopter – an American-made heavy-lift cargo aircraft – then carefully placing the supplies on the ground, ready to be handed out.

Tents are reportedly packed among the cargo, as thousands now need temporary shelter after they have been left on the streets when the earthquakes destroyed their homes.

The images were obtained by Newsflash from the Turkish Ministry of National Defence, along with a short statement that said: “We deliver tents and relief materials to villages with our CH-47 type heavy transport helicopter.”
