A young music fan who had dreamed of seeing Bad Bunny live fulfilled her wish from beyond the grave after her mum took her photo to a concert.
Young Yadira Montes from Peru passed away a few weeks ago, before she had ever got to see the Puerto Rican rapper.
Family friend DJ Peligro – real named Markos Vasquez – took to social media to explain that he had been hired to play at Yadira’s quinceanera some years ago.
A quinceanera is a coming-out ball for girls who have reached their 15th birthday. It is celebrated in Latin America and in Latino communities elsewhere.
It was there that DJ Peligro had learnt that Yadira was a mega fan of Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny.
After he learnt of her untimely death, he gifted her mother a ticket for one of the reggaeton star’s concerts at the National Stadium in Lima on 13th November.
Yadira’s mother broke netizens’ hearts after images emerged showing her attending the gig with a photo of her smiling daughter.
DJ Peligro wrote online: “RIP, Yadira, enjoy your wish in heaven, thank you for following my work and giving me your friendship.”
