This is the moment when an ice sledger slips up as she knocks another toboggan user head over heels while going backwards.

The woman – not named in local media in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China – took the bizarre approach to the winter sport on 3rd January.

An unnamed witness caught the moment of the collision on video, and later shared that footage on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

In the video, the woman can be seen sliding down an ice slope of what appears to be a frozen pond head first while lying on her back.

Only a few away is another woman attempting to get down the slope on a sledge with her back turned to the incoming woman.

Having failed to see what is right in front of her, the woman slides straight into her and, in the collision, knocks her head over heels onto the ice.

It is not clear if the women involved in the accident received any injuries.

Netizens criticised the woman for apparently paying no attention to safety.

User ‘white tofu’ commented: “It is a talent to take the lead and force the way open.”

Another user, ‘happiness’, said the situation looks “very scary”, and user ‘.Hi’ said: “She is very iron-headed.”
