This is the moment a shopper looks up at the ceiling and runs for cover seconds before the store ceiling collapses on the spot where she was standing.
The incident took place at the Way Dos Hermanas shopping centre in the city of Dos Hermanas in the southern Spanish region of Andalusia at around 12.10pm on 9th December.
In the footage, a woman in a green top is seen talking with a worker at the counter in a clothes store.
As the worker walks away to carry out a request, the shopper notices something strange happening above her head and looks up.
She straightens her bag strap over her shoulder and takes a step back before spinning on her heels and sprinting from the scene.
In that moment, a huge section of the ceiling plummets where she was standing, covering the counter in cement and ceiling panels.
Meanwhile, the shopper is seen standing at the far end of the shop after her scary dash to safety.
The clothing store underwent renovations and is open to the public. The ceiling collapse took place at a time when few people were around and no one was injured.
The local police confirmed that the incident took place at the Way Dos Hermanas shopping centre, however it is unclear if they are investigating the matter.
