These shocking images show the battered and bruised face of stunning Colombian model after she was allegedly beaten by her boyfriend after a night out.

Sonia Rodriguez, 24, lived in in the city of Tulum in the state of Quintana Roo in the Yucatan Peninsula in southern Mexico with her partner Akashi Alejandro Fukushima.

The alleged incident took place on the morning of February 13 after a night out.

The man was allegedly arrested for a public order offence over the course of the evening after insulting his partner in the street.

The alleged attack took place after he was released and returned home the following day.

Describing the alleged incident on social media, the woman posted: “He lost his mind because he has drunk alcohol and he has done drugs. He turned into a very aggressive person and the police arrested him for public scandal as he insulted me in the street.

She added: “I was alone in a public street without money and I did not want to see him so I went home hoping the next day everything will be solved.

“At 7:00 a.m I woke up with the man on me beating me on my face. He beat me several times and on one occasion he used a bamboo stick to hit me in my head, my arms and my legs.”

“I feared for my life, I asked for help but none of the three people in the house called the police. I run to a friend house who protected me.”

The Colombian model says she has since reported the case to the local authorities and filed a criminal complaint.

Local media reported that Sanchez said that Akashi Alejandro Fukushima occupied a post as a councillor in the Tulum city council but that information was denied by local authorities.

The case is reportedly being investigated by the authorities.
