SHAKE IT OFF: Cool-Headed Teacher Sings Kids Taylor Swift To Keep Them Calm During Shooting

This is the moment a nursery school teacher sings her class a Taylor Swift song to keep them calm during a shooting.

Footage from Guaymas, north-western Mexico, shows how the teacher sings her young students ‘Shake It Off’ by Taylor Swift as they take cover under their desks.

She can also be heard saying “Come on, I can hear you” and “Very good everyone, stay down” to keep the kids safe and take their minds off the carnage unfolding around them.

The dramatic events seen in the clip took place after gunfire was heard in the vicinity of the nursery school on Tuesday, 6th December.

Local media said that the ruckus heard was the chilling sound of two men being shot dead by hitmen.

According to reports, the shooting took place at around 1pm local time, when the hitmen, who were aboard a pickup truck, ambushed two men travelling in a saloon car.

The victims were riddled with bullets and died at the scene, local media reported.
