A German actress and YouTube star has been attacked by Internet trolls after posting a raunchy picture online with the message that mothers can look sexy too.
Anne Wunsche has starred in popular series like “Burning Day and Night” and the 28-year-old ended the year with a posting to fans on Instagram dressed in black lingerie and holding a golden goblet.
She wrote: “My last posting this year … and I know it will provoke, because society does not tolerate mothers that want to dress sexy when they present themselves to the public. I’ll do it anyway! We mums have done so much … from pregnancy that changed our bodies to birth and the sleepless nights that followed. Our breasts, our belly, our thighs … I have these tears and scars from pregnancy everywhere. I LOVE being a mum and it has always been my greatest wish … BUT I am still a woman & currently feel more beautiful than ever! I have learned to take everything the way it is and now I want to give you mums the strength to love yourself as you are! We are not models, but nevertheless we have a lot of courage and strength.”
But as a public figure and a mother who often campaigns for the rights of children, she attracted widespread criticism with the posting from people who said it was inappropriate.
She had previously been slammed for her role as a mother over allegations that she went on holiday without her children or that she was unfaithful in a relationship with singer Henning Merten.
Following the latest posting commentators lined up to criticise her, like ‘alexandermoll2301’ who wrote: “If you can’t do anything, just turn up on the Internet.”
Another, ‘leoherz.98’, wrote: “Sexy is good, but you don’t look sexy, you look cheap. There is a difference.”
He previous relationship ended after eight years in January, and she wrote: “For me, the year 2019 started very unusual and suddenly we were alone. I … with my 2 children, 4 dogs and a bloody big house with garden and pool. I was often afraid that I would not manage to control it all.”
But she said she is now in love again thanks to a Tinder date that took place in April, and although it was not love at first sight they grew on each other and she is now head over heels in love, she says.
Responding to critics who slammed her for posting the saucy snap, she said: “So often I’ve been afraid of the future and worried about the steps I have been taking this year. Things are always criticised. People asked me how I can separate from someone if we have two children together? They tell me I’m destroying everything.
“They asked how I can travel so often and do so so shortly after a split, noting that I even travel without my children. They accuse me of being a bad mother. And now they criticise me for being in a relationship after such a short time, they say it will only last a few weeks and why am I moving to Berlin, they tell me I’m selfish and ruthless.”
She added however that despite all the difficulties in which she often cried and felt alone: “If you’re so happy, it can’t be wrong, can it?”
