A sexy young woman who moved to Mexico to work as an escort and ended up as a cartel boss’s lover has been arrested with him in a car full of money and drugs.
Beautiful blonde Kassandra Rodriguez Barandica was taken into custody in Mexico City, which is Mexico’s capital, on the night of Friday, 13th October.
Before her arrest, Kassandra used to flaunt her luxurious lifestyle on social media. Many of her posts feature beach trips, outings to nightclubs, as well as showcasing her daily life, including designer clothes and jewellery.
She was detained alongside Brayan Mauricio Miranda, also known as ‘El Pozoles’, who is believed to be one of the leaders of the criminal gang known as La Union Tepito and who is believed to be her boyfriend.
The couple were stopped by police who were on the lookout for the suspected gang leader, who was driving a Taos van, and was in possession of a loaded firearm.
Inside the vehicle, officers reportedly discovered 271 doses of marijuana, cocaine, and crystal meth.
Additionally, police seized MXN 2,600 (GBP 116) in cash.
While ‘El Pozoles’ is considered to be behind a number of criminal activities in the area, including kidnappings, extortions, and drug dealing, little was known about his girlfriend, except that she was originally from Venezuela.
But reports now reveal that she lived in San Pedro de los Pinos and was in a relationship with ‘El Pozoles.’

The 30-year-old woman reportedly came to Mexico with the intention of becoming an “escort” and invited several of her friends to this line of work in an effort to earn more money.
During her stay in the capital, she met Brayan Mauricio, accused of murdering Venezuelan model Kenny Finol, his former romantic partner, in 2018.
One of Kassandra’s favourite pastimes, as seen on her social media, includes off-road vehicles like Razors, known for their ability to navigate challenging terrains, and exotic animals.
Following her arrest, she was incarcerated in the Santa Martha Acatitla Women’s Reintegration Centre.
As for her boyfriend ‘El Pozoles,’ he is currently in the Reclusorio Norte prison.
It is so far unclear when the two are set to appear before a court.
