A lumberjack claims he experienced a miracle from God after spotting this ‘saintly figure’ with a ‘halo’ over its head in the middle of a tree trunk he had just cut down.
According to local media Milic Sulubric from Ivanjica, a town located in southwestern Serbia cut down an oak tree in a nearby forest.
As he began chopping the wood into fuel for the fire he noticed a strange phenomenon happening while he was doing so.
He then spotted a saintly outline complete with what appears to be a halo on all of the piece of wood he was chopping from the tree.
According to local media, it was then that he was overcome by a strange feeling and could temporarily no longer use his hands.
As Milic described the happenings as a “miracle of God”.
He told local media: “I had a feeling in myself, pleasant, uncomfortable, I don’t know how to explain.
“I have been cutting down the forest for years, but this is the first time this has happened to me.”
He told local media he will bring one piece of wood to his home and the other half he will leave at his parents’ house to serve as a religious icon.
