Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly “furious” with “enough to go around” after Juventus lost 2-1 to lowly Hellas Verona.

Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, 35, reported reacted angrily to his side’s 2-1 loss to Hellas Verona which saw Juventus bumped down to the second position in Seria A as Inter Milan sit on top of the league.

According to Italian newspaper ‘Tuttosport’, “Cristiano is furious and he has enough rage to go around” after the tough loss in which he scored in the 65th minute.

Local media said his frustration comes after scoring in the last 10 consecutive matches, twice in three of them and a hat-trick in another.

Despite his performance, Juventus have drawn a match and lost three of their last 10 Serie A matches, including their latest defeat to Verona, which saw them lose top place to Inter as they are level on points but behind on goal difference.

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, 29, seemingly confirming the reports, told local media: “He is as angry, as are all of us, because it is not good to lose these types of matches.

“He does everything he can to make us win, he scores in all the matches and in turn, we have not been good enough.”

Juventus are set to play AC Milan on Thursday 13th February in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final.
