This is the viral moment reggaeton star J Balvin smacks his back onto a moving walkway when he tries to do a front flip which has had over 2.5 million views online.

The Colombian singer posted the failed flip on social media for his army of over 27 million followers.

In the video, Balvin, full name Jose Alvaro Osorio Balvin, can be seen stood on a moving walkway seemingly in an airport when he attempts a front flip.

The 33-year-old manages to flip in the air but cannot get his feet down in time and crashes into the walkway on his back with a thud.

The singer writhes in pain as onlookers laugh before he slowly begins getting to his feet.

He posted the video with the caption: “I still don’t understand what happened to me. I’m good I said.”

Netizens loved the clip with one commenting “The science of the absurd, you should try it again”, and another said: “Man, you are fat, haha”.

And ‘coreanolocotv’ commented: “Be careful, you are going to end up with a wooden leg too”.

While ‘jaycolindres’ added: “Jesus Christ! You are going to be like my heart, sh*t and broken! Behave yourself”.

Balvin is one of the most popular artists in the world of reggaeton and has collaborated with artists such as Pharrell Williams, Major Lazer, and Sean Paul.

He will perform at the next edition of Festival Lollapalooza in the United States, local media report.
