This is the baffling moment a RHNY star shows off her suitcase crammed full of Diet Coke as she lands in Rome convinced that you cannot buy it in Europe.

Jill Zarin – one of the most famous faces from the Real Housewives franchise – was filmed as she arrived in the Italian capital boasting about her haul.

In viral footage now seen more than 3.4 million times, Zarin proudly opens her black case to show it crammed with bottles and cans.

The haul, she says, is enough to cover her two-week trip.

She said: “So I’ve smuggled in my Diet Coke from the United States because they don’t sell it in Europe.”

Zarin goes on: “They only have Coke Light or Coke Zero and it sucks.”

Her enthusiasm did not even lose its fizz when she discovered that two cans had burst flooding her case with the sticky drink.

Coca-Cola had to rebrand its Diet Coke in some European countries as Coke Light after health officials objected to the word ‘diet’.

The contents, though, are said to be identical.

But the TikTok footage has baffled Coke fans across Europe.

Netizens reacted with bemusement after the clip was posted online, with ‘Abigail’ saying: “We definitely have Diet Coke. This cracked me up!”

And ‘alefrox’ said: “FYI: We have Diet Coke in Europe!”

While ‘Britney’ said: “The most American thing I’ve ever seen. I’m American.”
