PYRO MANIAC: Elderly Man Shoots Neighbour In Front Of Family In Fireworks Dispute

Police in Brazil have seized an elderly man who shot his neighbour in an execution-style killing because he’d set off some fireworks.

Harrowing video footage filmed by the victim’s sister shows the suspect walking up to the family on 2nd January wielding what looks like a shotgun.

In the clip, he can be heard barking, “Everyone on the floor!” as the victim’s niece screams in terror.

According to police, he then shot 38-year-old Francisco Nicolas Lopes Filho in his left ear.

Francisco – an engineer – was taken to hospital in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, with a head injury.

Medics were unable to save his life.

Police later seized Mario D’Amore Junior, who admitted confronting his neighbours after the noise of their fireworks scared his animals.

He confirmed he had argued with Francisco but claimed he did not remember firing any shots.

The 74-year-old also admitted to owning a “pellet gun”, which was later seized from his living room.

Francisco was buried in Sao Caetano do Sul the day after the crime.

His brother took to social media to write: “A calm, respectful boy, a really good guy. Full of plans, responsible, and hard-working.

“His life was taken for no reason, leaving behind many dreams. Thank you all for the calls, messages, and love.”
