A pregnant Russian singer with the popular Ukrainian band Via GRA whose baby is now overdue says having sex is not doing anything to help induce labour after being told it would.

Soloist Santa Dimopoulos, 32, said she was really concerned that the baby was now overdue as she entered her 41st week of pregnancy, and said she had tried everything to naturally encourage the birth.

She had also been told by a friend that having sex would help, but told her fans as she waited to go into labour: “It does not work”.

She said that every morning she gets around 10-20 messages from relatives and friends who ask if she gave birth.

Santa Dimopul wrote on Instagram: “Every day, the child seems to be more determined than ever to stay inside. Of course, I understand that he is comfortable there, but it’s time and respect! I no longer feel like just an elephant, but like an elephant who ate another elephant!”

Dimopoulos posted the message together with a picture of herself by the Paul in Monte Carlo with an enlarged belly.

The doctor warned the singer that if the birth does not begin this week, they will need to be called to the hospital which is something she wants to avoid.

Sex is one of the things she tries, but she said it was not the only thing.

She said: “To speed up the birth, my friend (a doctor) offered some tips. I tried the following: Have sex (does not help), Walk a lot (I can not) stop being nervous (this is impossible). “

Santa turned to fans to advise her of any other ways to expedite delivery.

Some subscribers recommended the star to drink castor oil.

However, Dimopoulos refused this option, as he was afraid of problems with her digestive system.

Others advised eating chocolate, but the singer said that she eats chocolate every day, but this does not help.

Many also recommend that Santa just relax and insisted the delivery will start on its own when least expected.

Dimopoulos will give birth in Monaco.

She started talking to her followers about her pregnancy in mid-June, and is now raising is a frequent subject with many of the problems such as the inability to get hold of any beautiful and stylish clothes when you are pregnant.

There is currently a lack of scientific evidence to support the notion that having sex can help induce labour.
