Victim Emmily Rodrigues Santos Gomes died from polytrauma and internal and external bleeding when she fell from the flat in Buenos Aires on 30th March.

The 26-year-old from Bahia State, Brazil, suffered 29 injuries, including bruises, torn organs, and fractures, when she hit the pavement with a thud.

According to the autopsy report, Emmily had taken the synthetic hallucinogen 2C-B, also known as pink cocaine.

The police are now investigating whether she committed suicide or was killed by agribusinessman Francisco Saenz Valiente, who is in custody.

The 52-year-old has denied giving pink cocaine to the Brazilian or the other three women in the apartment on the night in question. He said: “I didn’t supply or deliver drugs to anyone.”

However, he admitted to the police that the substance seized in his living room was his and that he had consumed some of it shortly before the women arrived at the flat.

Saenz Valiente is still claiming that Emmily had a “psychotic episode”, bit him, and jumped out of the window. Before her fall, he had called the police to say: “She’s like possessed.”

But her father, Aristides Rodrigues, believes she was murdered. He told media in Brazil: “There is a witness, a neighbour in front of the building said he saw Emmily holding on and waving in the window for people to see her asking for help, for them to call the police, in the front window of the building.

“And a man appeared who pulled her inside the apartment, probably to prevent people from seeing her, taking her to the back window and pushing her.”

On the bite marks found on the businessman’s hands, Aristides said: “Everything indicates that they tried to silence Emmily and she was trying to defend herself by biting.

“People saw her waving and shouting, asking to call the police in front of the building, where there were already people watching.”

The Justice system has broadened the charges against the suspect and he is now accused of femicide, illegal possession of a firearm, and supplying drugs.

The second charge relates to a shotgun that was seized at his home, which had an expired possession permit.

His defence is reportedly considering requesting the nullity of the interrogation.

It was earlier reported that two friends of the victim had told media in Argentina that Saenz was a sugar daddy to a Brazilian doctor present on the night of the fall.

They claimed the businessman used the female doctor to lure young women to be drugged and raped by him.
