This corgi dog may only have short legs but he insists on collecting the biggest sticks everywhere he goes, and then brings them home to put them next to many others he has collected on previous walks.

The corgi dog hails from the city of Chengdu, in the Chinese province of Sichuan, and the footage in which he brings a wooden stick at home was posted on Douyin, which is what TikTok is called in China, on 2nd April.

In the video, the dog can be seen taking a stick and bringing it inside the property and dumping it on the floor, where there are many other similar sticks gathered on previous outings.

In the second video, he finds a large stick and, while carrying it with his mouth, the stick gets stuck between a fence at the side of the pavement and a tree, and the dog can be seen trying to force it through.

In the next two videos, the dog can be seen apparently in a square, where he finds wooden sticks again and happily runs back home carrying them in his mouth.

Netizens left several comments on Douyin, such as ‘little babe’, who wrote: “The dog can build houses, and I don’t have a house yet so send him over.”
