This leaked social media snap shows a woman dubbed ‘The Demon’ who is suspected of belonging to a deadly Mexican cartel following a separate report of another woman assassin who taunts rivals by sending them photos of her busty cleavage.
‘The Demon’ works for the Gulf Cartel, considered one of Mexico’s deadliest and oldest criminal organisations, according to local reports yesterday (22 December).
The image shows the pretty-eyed cartel member wearing a mask while holding a large assault rifle and wearing a shirt with a map of Mexico.
A large tattoo is seen on her hand which the authorities can now use to identify her.
It is unclear why the picture was uploaded or who shared it online.
It is not the first time a female cartel member has made the headlines in Mexico. A woman posing in low-cut tops while brandishing assault rifles known as La Cholita was reported by local media earlier this month.
She is believed to be a fearsome cartel assassin for the Los Viagras criminal group.
La Cholita reportedly likes to taunt rivals of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) with snaps of her posing with guns while hiding her face behind emojis which can be seen in some of the images.
