KNIFE ATTACK: Virginia Man Drives To New York To Stalk Ex And Kill Her New Hubby

A Virginia man has been arrested for travelling across several US states to stalk his ex-partner before allegedly killing her new husband.

Jacob Klein, 40, from Wirtz in Franklin County in the US state of Virginia, reportedly “slashed and mutilated” his former lover’s husband in the town of New Scotland in Albany County in New York State.

Albany County Police Sheriff Craig Apple said the suspect’s former girlfriend, named as Elana Z. Radin, was unaware she was being stalked and added that her murdered husband, Philip L. Rabadi, 35, did not know Klein.

The police said the suspect “bound, slashed and mutilated” Rabadi after driving from Virginia to New York State.

After using his own vehicle to arrive in Albany County, Klein reportedly hired a car from Enterprise that he used to stalk his ex-partner’s home and St. Peter’s Hospital where she worked as physician assistant with her husband.

Radin and Rabadi only got married on 10th September 2021, and only bought their home two months before tying the knot.

According to the authorities, Klein waited for Radin to leave for work on the morning of 13th April and then knocked on the front door of her home.

A neighbour’s CCTV footage reportedly shows the victim opening the door and reacting as if a weapon was pointed at him. He then retreated into the house and the suspect followed.

Radin called the emergency services after he husband failed to show up for work and the police found the victim dead inside the home.

Rabadi suffered numerous stab wounds to his head and upper body, according to local media.

The suspect then returned the hire car and arrived back in his home state on Thursday. He was arrested by Virginia and Tennessee state troopers the following day.

Klein is being held at Abingdon Regional Jail in Virginia as the investigation continues.
