This is the moment legendary gymnast Nadia Comaneci celebrates the anniversary of scoring the world’s first-ever perfect 10 by performing an acrobatic cartwheel on the beach.
The Romanian icon took to social media to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of scoring the first-ever perfect 10 at the Montreal Olympics in 1976.
In the video, the 57-year-old can be seen standing on a beach when she launches into a cartwheel. The former gymnast performs a graceful cartwheel with a finishing pose.

Her son Dylan, 13, can be seen performing a handstand in the background as his mum cartwheels in front and Comaneci added the caption: “Here we go….43 years later… and Dylan s handstand photobomb …. July 18th @montreal1976 first Perfect 10…”
Comaneci scored a total of seven perfect 10s at the age of 14 at the Montreal games en route tow inning three gold medals in the individual all-around, the balance beam and uneven bars. Her first perfect 1 came for a routine on the uneven bars.

Comaneci serves as the honorary president of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation, the honorary president of the Romanian Olympic Committee, is a member of the International Gymnastics Federation Foundation and serves as the sports ambassador of Romania.
