PEE FOR PRESIDENT: South Sudan Leader Wets Himself At Public Event

This is the moment the President of South Sudan appears to wet his pants while standing for the national anthem at a public event.

As the rousing music plays, a wet patch can be seen growing in size on Salva Kiir Mayardit’s trouser fronts.

Liquid can be seen streaming onto the floor and into a growing puddle as the 71-year-old holds his hand to his heart for his country’s hymn.

At the end of the clip, the statesman can be seen looking down towards the ground while leaning on his walking stick.

None of the other dignitaries or soldiers present can be seen reacting to the apparent mishap, despite the trickle reaching the boots of a man in army uniform.

African media said the apparent mishap happened at a road commissioning ceremony, which was being broadcast on live television on Tuesday, 13th December.

The clip has since been doing the rounds online.

Some netizens have been calling for the septuagenarian to stand down and let someone younger and fitter take over the reins.

Others, however, reacted with sympathy but still suggested the head of state wear an adult nappy to avoid future embarrassment.

One social media user colourfully wrote: “Poor guy. He must be dealing with prostrate issues.

“Listen, guys, it’s not a shame to wear Depend adult diapers. Accidents happen as you get older. Even as a young man. You can sh*t in your pants when trying to fart.”

But another said: “He should be wearing diapers and he should consider resignation.”

Kiir has been the President of South Sudan since it achieved independence from the Sudan in 2011.

Some accused the cameramen of disgracing their president, while others said they did the right thing by exposing the President as medically unfit to lead a country. (CEN)
