Croatian sailing star Filip Jurisic is probably the only one racing for Olympic medals at Paris 2014 having a special song dedicated to him.

The 31-year-old is going to be the one fighting for medals together with the Briton Michael Backett.

Top Croatian pop star Neno Belan performs the song Regatta and sportsman Filip Jurisic plays the main role in the video filmed in his hometown of Hvar, Croatia.

“We were working for a year on this song. Writer Ivo Scepanovic came up to me with lyrics and I delivered music to describe the “regatta of one’s life”. It fits well with Filip Jurisic’s fight but also fits well with every Olympic Games participant”, pop star Neno Belan has revealed. His song soon became a hit in Croatian version and now spreads abroad in English version of the song.

Sailor Filip Jurisic also did a boost to tourism in his home town of Hvar as Olympic flag was lifted there and tourists can download the song Regatta from a QR code at a nearby banner.
