Police in Brazil have caught a kidnapper and returned the seven-month-old girl she had snatched three days earlier to her relieved mother.
Suspect Natalia Santos Sousa, 26, had taken the tot to a mobile phone store in Novo Gama, Goias state, west-central Brazil as seen in this footage.
But she had then failed to return the youngster to her mother.

However, the mum’s harrowing ordeal came to a close when Military Police arrested Santos Sousa and returned the tot to her safely.
The youngster was in good health, police reported.
The suspect’s family revealed that the suspect has an aggressive temper, is unstable, and often threatens her relatives.

They said she flies into a rage for trivial reasons and is also a drug user.
She had given birth to a child of her own earlier this year, but the newborn tragically died before she had even reached a month of age.
Santos Sousa’s family said she may have fled with her friend’s daughter due to the trauma of losing her own child.

Camila Alves Santos, the mother of the kidnapped tot, told police that Santos Sousa, who is her neighbour, had asked to take the youngster with her to the phone store.
Local media reported that she had visited acquaintances and introduced the tot to them as her own later that day.
She had run away shortly afterwards.

She will be charged with child abduction.
