This is the bizarre fish with human-like teeth that has been dubbed the “testicle eater” with some netizens suggesting the ‘mutant’ creature may have been spawned as a result of pollution.
The strange fish, the species of which is yet to be confirmed, was caught by a farmer in the village of Somate, in the district of Bellavista, in the northern Peruvian province of Sullana.
Local media report farmer Jorge Chavez, 32, was fishing with a net in an irrigation canal close to where he and his colleagues were working when he spotted the bizarre fish in his catch.

The fish reportedly weighs just under five kilogrammes (11 lbs) and photos show how its teeth are similar to those of human beings.
Chavez says he decided to keep the strange fish and took it to his house and he is hoping to feed it to his family.
He told reporters: “It is the first time I have seen a fish like this here. It scared my family and the village, that is why I will wait until the authorities determine if the meat is harmless.
“The meat is red and it seems normal.”
Netizens were quick to comment on the incident and ‘Antony Sanchez’ wrote on social media: “Be careful as these kinds of fish are known as testicle eaters.”
While ‘George Ap’ seemed to think is was a ‘mutant’, saying: “This malformation is caused by pollution.”
It is not known if the fish’s teeth are a malformation.
