This is the mutant piglet with elephant-like ears, a trunk and no mouth that was found moments after reportedly being born in a rubbish tip.
The incident was filmed in the municipality of Salvador Mazza in the northern Argentine province of Salta when resident Jose Fernandez found over 10 piglets that had reportedly been born in a rubbish tip.

He noticed that one of them had the apparent features of an elephant while its siblings all seemed normal.
In the footage, Fernandez says: “This morning, a piglet was born. A piglet that had a head like an elephant and no mouth.”
Fernandez, who lives near the tip, said that he feeds the pigs that live in the area and confirmed that the elephant-piglet did not live for more than a few minutes after being born.
In another video clip, the mutant pig is seen lying next to other dead piglets which appear to be born without any similar defects.
Reports did not mention what happened to the other piglets in the litter. It is unclear if the case is being investigated or what caused the mutation.
Netizen ‘Adriana Ramadan’ said: “Poor animal. If it did not have a mouth, how could it have eaten anything? My cat once gave birth to a kitten like this, I guess nature sometimes gets it wrong or something strange must have happened?”
