This is the moment Lebanese soldiers force their way into a house and find a boy who had allegedly been tortured and chained to window bars for 72 hours by his mother.

After raiding the home in the village of Juya, the Lebanese authorities in the southern Lebanese district of Tyre have reportedly arrested the mother for torturing her son.

The footage shows soldiers breaking down the front door after no one answered and finding the victim, name not disclosed, apparently chained to window bars by his bruised ankle.

The soldiers then set about cutting the youngster free from the metal chain.

The local authorities responded after the boy managed to shout to passersby on the street to explain that he was chained up.

Passersby then alerted the authorities and members of the special forces were sent to the location.

According to Arab News, the mother burned her son in sensitive parts of his body and is accused of torturing him.

She also allegedly chained the boy to the window bars for 72 hours before he was found by the armed forces.

The investigation into the allegedly abusive mum is ongoing.
