A former German MP who left his wife and kids for a porn star has opened up about how he had met his now ex-partner on a secret cheating app when she was married to someone else, and he was single.
Hagen Reinhold, 45, made headlines last year when he separated from his partner of 16 years, politician Karoline Preisler, 52, and began dating double-G-cupped Annina Semmelhaack, 44.
Reinhold and Semmelhaack’s romance reportedly began as the two got close while she was doing an internship in his Bundestag office, in an attempt to pursue a political career.
But they shortly found themselves caught up amidst a scandal as Preisler accused them of having an affair while she and Reinhold were still together.
She claimed that the meetings between the two had taken place in her Berlin apartment next to the photos of their three children.
But, Preisler who at the time was running to become a constitutional judge, was urged to drop her candidacy due to the negative publicity.
Now for the first time after the separation in December 2022, Reinhold opened up about the breakup saying: “For a year I had to endure untruths being told about me and my new partner Annina.
“My ex-partner is very inventive and always portrays herself as a kind of overmother, which she actually isn’t.
“I, however, am portrayed as the cheater who ran away and never really took care of the family. The opposite is the case. Now the children are also being publicly exploited.”
Reinhold, who owns a building company in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany, revealed more about his life together with Preisler, and said: “When I came home from work, I cooked, washed, and cleaned.
“But she was in bed and on social media.”
“Our relationship was not a classic romance. The truth is, we met on a cheating portal. The site was called ‘seitensprung.de’.
“I was single at the time and wasn’t looking for anything permanent.”
He added that Preisler was still married and had cheated on her husband with him when they first met.
The ex-Bundestag member said: “She wanted to get married, I didn’t. Something always held me back. Today I know it was a good thing. My instincts were right.”
Reinhold also debunked her claims that he had been unfaithful to her, and said: “After a few years, we decided together to have an open relationship.
“So there could never be any talk of classic cheating between us anyway. Loyalty never played a role for her either.
“Therefore, the attraction that had existed between us at some point was gone long before I met Annina.”
Reinhold’s revelations followed after Preisler brought their daughter Lucy to an interview with German newspaper Bild on Sunday, 26th November.
In the interview, she reportedly accused Reinhold of not spending enough time with the children.
Preisler said: “The children miss their father very much. Because he didn’t just leave me. This is hard for the children.
“I want my children to have contact with both parents. They’re with me around the clock anyway. Separation is an absolute disaster for children. For me, not meeting her borders on abuse.
“It was much more difficult for my children than it was for me. But they coped brilliantly. We have become even closer since then.”
To that Reinhold commented: “I am shocked enough at how the children are being exploited here. When, where, and how often I meet my children is private.”
