Mother Does Not Yet Know Her Three Young Sons Died in Car Crash

This young woman has been hospitalised in a critical condition and has not yet been told that her three children have died.

The three brothers were killed in a car accident on the North-South Expressway close to the Gunung Lang Recreation Park in the Malaysian city of Ipoh.

The mother who works as a secretary live separately from her husband because of their individual work commitments, and was driving home with the boys after taking them on a holiday in Melaka.

The three boys, pictured here with their mother were aged seven, three and one and all were confirmed dead at the scene.

The woman, who was not named but is aged 27, is in the Emergency Ward at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB).

Firefighters had to cut free the mother and four boys that were trapped inside after the accident that also involved two lorries, one carrying electronic goods and another carrying fruit.

Ipoh District Deputy Chief of Police, Superintendent Mohamed Nordin Abdullah, said that the accident happened after the two lorries collided, and that the woman had then collided with them after they tried to pull over to the side.

The three children were reportedly killed instantly after being pinned to their car seats.

The woman is reportedly unconscious and suffering from internal bleeding has not been told yet that her children are dead.

Local media quoted her brother saying that she was stable.
