MONEY BECK: Shamed Tennis Legend Boris Set To Earn EUR 1m From Post-Jail Interview

Fallen tennis champ Boris Becker is set to earn a cool GBP 860,000 for an interview following his release from prison.

German media are reporting that the 55-year-old is set to bag himself between EUR 500,000 (GBP 430,000) and EUR 1 million for the chat with a Munich TV station.

The former world number one was released from HM Prison Huntercombe in Nuffield this morning (15th December), according to reports.

His deportation to Germany – rumouredly on a private jet – is said to be imminent.

Becker was released after having served just seven months of his 30-month sentence for hiding assets during his bankruptcy.

While in prison, he was visited several times by his partner, 33-year-old Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro.

But he was also visited by well-known German TV presenter Steven Gaetjen, 50, who is said to be conducting the interview.

Gaetjen has supposedly already been shooting scenes with Becker for an upcoming documentary.

Despite now cashing in on his release from jail, Becker is still subject to debt measures.

Lawyer and bankruptcy expert Hans Georg Fritsche, 47, told German media: “This means income Mr Becker generates in Germany falls into the insolvency estate.
