This is the moment when a huge tornado hits Turkey causing concern among local residents before they realised it was dissipating almost as quickly as it formed.
The tornado formed before the rainfall in the district of Cavdarhisar in the Turkish province of Kutahya on 27th May.
According to the local news website Haber Turk’s report, the tornado, which lasted for about 10 minutes, was formed in an empty field.
Many people who saw the tornado while driving along the nearby road stopped their vehicles and filmed this moment with their mobile phones.
The video shows two people watching the tornado in the middle of a field and talking about what is happening.
In the statement made by the Cavdarhisar District Directorate of Agriculture, it was stated that the tornado lost its effect after 10 minutes and that it has not reached the settlements in the district centre.
Any damage that may have occurred in the agricultural lands has not yet been reported by the local media.
The videos of the tornado, which spread on social media in a short time, received many views and comments from netizens.
While most netizens were happy that the tornado lost its effect in a short time and did not cause any damage, some netizens argued that this and similar natural disasters were caused by the deteriorating climate of Turkey.
