This is the moment a jilted man smashes up his ex-wife’s motorbike and even throws her helmet at her head, hitting her in the face, in revenge for her breaking up with him.

The violent act was caught on CCTV on a street in the Brazilian city of Juazeiro at night on Saturday, 24th July.

The footage shows the exact moment the enraged man hurls a motorbike helmet towards his ex-wife’s head, hitting her hard in the face.

He can also be seen repeatedly smashing up her motorbike, including with what appears to be a paving slab, as she looks on in despair, unsure of what to do.

According to reports, the man was drunk when he carried out the violent act. However, it did not stop him from accurately aiming her motorbike helmet at her head and hitting her in the face.

He also reportedly threatened the woman, and neighbours said fights between the former couple were frequent and often ended up with the man being violent towards his then-partner.

One female resident who wished to remain anonymous told local media that she was too scared to report him to the police because of his violent demeanour.

In the end, it was the man’s ex-wife who reported him to the police after the most recent violent episode. She also requested a restraining order against him.

At the time of reporting, the police had not managed to locate the suspect, whom they want to question.

The identities of those involved were not disclosed.
