This stunning Brazilian model has died in a road accident after failing to wear a seatbelt in the back of the car when it overturned on a motorway – one day after posting a video in which she mimed the words “the only person I lost and needed back was me”.
The accident took place on the BR-153 motorway near the city of Anapolis in the Brazilian state of Goias just after dawn on 25th September.
Stunning model Amanda Pedrassa de Souza, 35, who came from the state of Sao Paulo, was fatally injured in the accident after failing to wear her belt in the backseat when the car overturned.
The victim was travelling with her uncle, who was driving at the time, and his wife, who suffered minor injuries in the accident, according to the news site G1.
The local police said Amanda was still alive at the scene and was rushed to hospital. However, she died of her injuries soon afterwards.
According to the police, the driver hit a large puddle on the motorway and lost control of the steering wheel, with the vehicle overturning in the road.
The model’s body was taken to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) in the city before being released to family members for burial.
One friend said on social media. “I don’t know what to say. My heart is broken, Amanda. May God receive you and comfort your family. You will be sorely missed on our Sundays out in Sao Paulo.”
The day before the fatal accident, Amanda posted a video of herself on social media miming the words “the only person I lost and needed back was me”, with some netizens suggesting she was foreshadowing the accident.
