This stunning Colombian model has been denied entry to a hotel after being told she was dressed like a “sadomasochist” and called an “easy girl”.

Alexandra Rodriguez, who hails from the Colombian city of Cali, recounted her bad experience for her 29,600 Instagram followers on 19th December.

The young model and influencer tried to enter the Click Clack Hotel in the Colombian city of Medellin as she had a reservation at the on-site Egeo restaurant with her boyfriend and a friend.

However, on arriving at the hotel, the receptionist told the group that he could not let them through.

The model explained that they then asked if it was because of how her boyfriend was dressed as he was wearing boots.

However, to the trio’s surprise, he replied: “It’s because of her. She doesn’t comply with the establishment’s dress code.”

Rodriguez explained to her followers: “I started looking at myself and I said ‘I haven’t come in a skirt’, because I know there’s sometimes a big fuss in society when it comes to skirts. I didn’t wear heels, I went there in a bodysuit, shiny black jeans, and black boots.

“I wasn’t exposing anything, I was very confused.”

The receptionist then took the model to one side and showed her the dress code.

She told her followers: “He showed me the first rule which said ‘you cannot enter wearing sadomasochistic outfits’.

“I was left thinking what they thought an S&M outfit was… are they really doing this to me?”

The situation got even worse when another employee came up to the group and told the men that they couldn’t enter with ‘easy girls’,” according to the model.

Rodriguez observed that “even in 2020, men are taking decisions about how a woman should dress in order to visit certain places”.

“I felt completely offended, I felt they were judging me, I felt super bad,” she said.

After Rodriguez published her video, which has over 285,000 views as of 23rd December, the hotel posted a statement of apology.

However, the tactless statement seemed to add insult to injury as it did not mention the young model, and pledged to “continue to maintain barriers against sex tourism”.

The Egeo restaurant published a more heedful statement in which it publicly apologised to Rodriguez and stated: “We are convinced that no woman should be judged on how she dresses or expresses herself.

“Freedom of expression and the free development of personality is part of our DNA.”
