This shocking image shows the bodies of two missing teenage girls who were found stabbed and stuffed inside a cupboard in a flat they rented for the holiday season.
The two girls had been reported as missing by their relatives on 2nd January and their bodies were found in a flat in the Podolsky district of the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
According to the local police department, one of the girls, named as Mariya Kaminina, 19 and Evelina Lisenko, 16, residents of Kiev, had rented out the flat for the holiday season.
The owner of the flat later found their bodies stuffed into the cupboard on the balcony with their hands tied and multiple stab wounds to their bodies. The image shows the two bodies stuffed inside the cupboard and the owner then called the police.
The local police confirmed a task force is working on the case and the girls’ bodies have been sent for a forensic examination to establish the exact cause of death. A criminal case has been instituted under part 2 of Act 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ‘Premeditated Murder’.
