Brazilian Miss BumBum star Suzy Cortez has accused Lionel Messi’s long-term partner Antonela Roccuzzo of being “insanely jealous” and of “stalking” her online for five years
Cortez, 32, who hails from the Brazilian city of Campinas, is well-known for her love of Lionel Messi and boasts several tattoos of the Argentine talisman on her body.
The curvy model, who won the national Miss BumBum pageant in 2015 and the Miss BumBum World contest at the end of 2019, already has Messi’s name and shirt number tattooed above her bum as well as the Argentine superstar’s face above her nether regions.
The former Miss BumBum winner first got in hot water with Messi’s partner Antonela Roccuzzo, 33, back in 2016 for allegedly sending the Argentine footballer some saucy snaps.
Discussing the incident last year, Cortez explained: “To this day, people still ask me about that controversy, but I don’t actually know what happened.
“I think it was out of jealousy that she [Roccuzzo] blocked me and entered his [Messi’s] account and blocked me there too.
“It has now been a couple of years since he unblocked me, but I have never sent him any nude pictures.”
Although Roccuzzo has never posted anything about the Brazilian model on her social media accounts, Cortez is convinced she has been “stalking” her online for several years.
In a Twitter post on 14th February, which has since become her ‘pinned tweet’ for greater exposure, Cortez claimed: “Antonella is insanely jealous of Messi. She wants to control what others post. It appears she thinks Messi is going to cheat on her on Instagram. Since he is one of the richest guys in the world and can arrange super secret dates. Childish attitude. I’ve been stalked by her on Instagram for five years.”
It is unclear what caused Cortez to post the Valentine’s Day attack on Roccuzzo. However, the Argentine and her husband both failed to share a romantic post on their socials, prompting netizens to speculate whether they are going through a rough patch.
Roccuzzo and Messi have known each other since childhood and have three sons together.
