Two stunning favourites for Brazil’s coveted Miss BumBum 2021 contest have revealed they are having a steamy love affair.
Miss BumBum beauties Deia Cavalheiro, representative for the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul, and Camila Beck from Tocantins State, decided to publicly reveal that they are a couple and living together.
On Valentine’s Day, Deia said she surprised Camila by asking her out on a date at the home they both share in Paraguay.
Deia explained: “The feeling had been around for a while, we have been good friends since before the contest. However, I realised I was really in love with her during an event we did for Miss BumBum in Sao Paulo.
“That is when I decided to open up, and Camila said yes. It was the first time we said ‘I love you’ and kissed.”
Deia posted images of the couple exchanging rings and sharing a kiss on Instagram for her 34,000 followers.
She said: “This woman made me discover something that I thought didn’t exist, love, that feeling of being loved all the time, yes, she makes me feel that.”
Meanwhile, Camila said the Miss BumBum contest brought the pair closer together and after a few months she wanted to take the relationship to another level.
Despite admitting her love for Deia now, Camila said she had never been in a relationship with a woman before and was initially apprehensive.
However, when Deia asked her out, she said she didn’t think twice about accepting.
Via a voting system on the Miss BumBum website, the number of Miss BumBum candidates will be whittled down from 27 to 15 for the pageant final in front of a jury in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo on 5th July.
The two lovebirds are in top positions at the online voting stage and are expected to be among the final 15.
Camila said: “Above everything is our love. The contest will be done in a friendly way. If one of us wins, the other one will be happy for their achievement. Before rivals, we are friends and lovers.”
