A Russian rapper who was in rehab in the US has reportedly thrown a lavish party on his arrival home instead of self-isolating for 14 days during the outbreak of COVID-19.

Russian rapper Djigan, 34, whose real name is Denis Ustimenko-Weinstein, had recently returned from rehab in the US state of Florida when he reportedly staged a star-studded party.

According to local media, Djigan and his model wife Oxana Samoylova, 31, invited at least four other people to their home in the western Russian capital Moscow where they drank booze and even shared a hookah.

Reports said the couple should have self-isolated at home for two weeks after returning from the US, but decided to ignore the measure.

Russia has fallen short of calling for a nationwide lockdown amid the COVID-19 crisis, but Moscow imposed a mandatory lockdown beginning today and citizens have been advised to self-isolate for several weeks.

According to reports, Brazilian singer Gabriella da Silva, 35, was present at the rapper’s party with her Russian businessman husband Vitaly Chekulaev.

Dzhigan went to the US in January 2020 where he was reportedly admitted in the Seaside Palm Beach addiction treatment centre in Palm Beach Shores in Florida.

Meanwhile, his model wife gave birth to their fourth child while in the US.

However, reports said the rapper was soon spotted in strip clubs in Miami and his wife said on social media that she did not want to wake up “in this world” anymore.
