Minnesota Woman Admits That She Strangled Her Mother To Death Like A Python

A Minnesota woman has allegedly admitted that she squeezed the life out of her mother after putting her in a death hold “like a python” in order to strangle her.

Cassandra A. DuSold, 33, of New Market Township, which is located in Scott County, in the Midwestern US state of Minnesota was charged with second-degree murder in the Scott County District Court on Monday, 24th January.

It is alleged that the daughter strangled her mother, named as Dorothy I. DuSold, 69, to death in the family home last Wednesday, 19th January.

The accused was arrested at the scene and is being held in custody pending trial.

According to the complaint, members of the fire department arrived on the scene and provided first aid to the victim, who was reportedly lying on the floor in a bedroom.

The daughter was reportedly the only other person in the home and she initially told police that she had been in the kitchen when she heard a loud thud.

She claimed that she went to the bedroom and saw her mother on the floor. She said that she called 911 and started to administer first aid.

Medics, however, said that they had noticed bruises around the victim’s eyes, blood on the back of her head and coming out of her ears, as well as other injuries on her body.

The accused subsequently changed her tune and said that her mother had attacked her and scratched her.

She said that she had responded by putting her in a chokehold and that she had “squeezed like a python so hard”, leading to both of them falling to the floor. She said that she then called 911.
