Minibus Driver Shoots Shipping Boss Who Sued Him For 19k

This is the moment a minibus driver forced to shell out 19,200 GBP to the owner of a shipping company after a road accident, pulls a gun on the businessman and shoots him.

According to local media, the suspect, identified as minibus driver Dogan H., went to the office of shipping company owner Ercan Sert in the district of Pamukkale in the western Turkish province of Denizli after he lost a court case against the businessman.

Reports said that Dogan H. caused a road accident which resulted in one of Sert’s lorries being damaged.

The business owner successfully sued the minibus driver, who was forced to pay him 150,000 TRY (19,270 GBP) in damages.

In the CCTV footage, a suited man is seen holding papers as he converses with Sert who is standing behind his desk.

In the next scene, the business owner is chatting on his phone while the suspect removes a gun from his trousers and appears to shoot at Sert’s lower body.

Meanwhile, the suspect attacks the businessman as he tries to grab a weapon next to his desk.

Sert manages to fight the man off with the blunt instrument, and the suspect is last seen running out of the office.

Dogan H. allegedly went to the plaintiff’s office armed with a gun and confronted him following the ruling.

Reports said that he shot Sert twice in the leg, but the plucky businessman managed to fight him off with a blunt instrument next to his desk.

The minibus driver fled the scene while Sert called for an ambulance to take him to a nearby hospital where he is currently receiving treatment, according to local media.

Meanwhile, the local police have confirmed that they have launched an investigation and are trying to track down the armed suspect.
