Michael Jordan’s son Jeffrey has now been arrested for assaulting a medic at the Arizona hospital where he was being treated for a head injury.

It was first reported that Jeffrey Jordan, the 32-year-old son of basketball legend Michael Jordan, had assaulted a member of staff at a hospital where he was being treated after he sustained a head injury at a bar in Scottsdale, a city in the US state of Arizona in the western United States.

Now it has been revealed that he was arrested on Friday (24th September) after being released from hospital, according to Fox News.

He was then reportedly released on Saturday from the Scottsdale city jail but according to KNXV-TV of Phoenix, he has not yet been formally charged over the incident.

The retired NBA superstar’s son was first taken to hospital after falling and hitting the back of his head on a table at the Casa Amigos bar in Scottsdale, according to local media outlet Fox 10.

Local police officers were already on the scene dealing with an unrelated incident and they attended to Jordan.

Celebrity media gossip outlet TMZ reported that Jordan became “combative” when security at the bar tried to escort him outside so that he could receive medical attention.

And upon arriving at the hospital after an ambulance was called to the scene, he allegedly assaulted a member of staff and a report for aggravated assault was made.

He was not arrested at the time but it has now been revealed that upon being released from hospital, he was taken into police custody. he has since been released but it is expected that there will be further legal action.

Jeffrey Jordan is the oldest son of Michael Jordan and his ex-wife Juanita Jordan.
