A McDonald’s customer who requested extra mayonnaise in her bun was stunned to find the burger box flooded with the thick sauce.

The incident took place around 2am at the Woodlands Civic Centre in the island city-state of Singapore located off the southern Malaysian coast and shared on Facebook by netizen ‘Nurul Lyana Norman’.

The young woman says she went into a local McDonald’s and ordered a McSpicy burger with “extra mayonnaise”.

However, when the burger arrived she claims it was sitting at the bottom of the box in a pool of mayo.

The woman uploaded a photo of the burger to Facebook and said: “As much as I am a big fan of mayonnaise, when I asked for a little extra I didn’t mean for you to squeeze the whole bottle into my McSpicy. I am sad!”

She later added: “The whole bun was flooded with mayo.”

The woman said online that she was not able to eat the burger and went home to cook instant noodles instead.

However, the incident does not seem to have put her off eating at the American fast food chain again.

She posted that she was “feeling calm” and added: “I still love you (McDonald’s), no matter what.”

It is unclear if she complained to staff about the alleged incident.
