Man With Desire To Kill Pushes Mum In Front of Train

A man has been arrested for killing this mother-of-one he did not know by pushing her in front of an oncoming train because he “had a desire to kill”.

Suspect Jackson B., 28, has been arrested for pushing mother-of-one Anja N., 34, from behind onto train tracks as a train we approaching n Voerde, in the district of Wesel, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Local media report Jackson B. did not know the victim, and there was no apparent fight or argument between the pair.

Her husband, who has not been named in reports, said: “My wife was murdered. She was pushed in front of a train by a person she did not know, without reason.”

Jackson B., who is of Serbian-Kosovan origin and is reportedly known to police, is said to have pushed the woman in front of the Regionalexpress 19 train.

A police spokesman said: “The woman was run over by the train, despite the rescue and resuscitation attempts, the woman could not be saved.”

Horrified witnesses reportedly held onto the suspect until the police arrived.

Prosecutor Alexander Bayer said: “Duisburg Court has ordered the man to be remanded in custody on suspicion of murder. The motive appears to have been malice and the desire to kill.”

A local food stand owner told local media: “We feared that something bad would have to happen before police finally locked him up.”

Jackson B. had reportedly only lived in the area for one year but a neighbour said: “There are almost no people locally who have not experienced one of his freaking out incidents.”

Numerous locals are said to have reported him to the police for damaging property and GBH. 

The investigation is ongoing.
