This is the bizarre moment a man is filmed breaking Spain’s coronavirus lockdown by dressing up as a dog and walking the streets on all fours before cocking his leg to ‘relieve himself’.
The strange scene was captured in the neighbourhood of Poligono, in the city of Toledo, in the central Spanish region of Castilla La Mancha, close the country’s capital Madrid.
In the video, the unnamed man can be seen on all fours in a tight costume complete with a fuzzy wig.
The person recording can be heard laughing as the man in the costume approaches a parked car and cocks his back leg to mimic a dog urinating.
Another netizen took a snap of the scene and other users were quick to comment such as
‘raulgodoy46’ who wrote: “Dog-breeding a*sehole. I would hit him twice in the back with a truncheon.”
‘tatjils’ said: “Who on earth do you think finds this funny with all that is happening now?”
Spain has suffered 42,058 confirmed cases of coronavirus, leading to 2,991 deaths according to the latest data from the Johns Hopkins University.
In Castilla-La Mancha, there have been a total of 2,465 confirmed cases.
The Spanish authorities have placed the country into a state of alarm, with citizens only allowed out of the homes alone to buy food or medical supplies. Those breaking the rules can face fines and even prison sentences.
It is unclear if this man in the images is being investigated or if he has been fined or arrested.
