This man has been arrested for posing as a woman online to attract over 40 male massage clients back to his home where he donned a hijab and turned down the lights to keep them unaware.

The suspect, identified as R.H. from the city of Mataram in the Indonesian province of West Nusa Tenggara, was reportedly rumbled after the woman whose picture he used to attract clients reported him to the police.

According to local media, he pretended to be a woman called Mawar online to attract clients to his massage business.

Police spokesperson Kadek Adi Budi Astawa said: “From his confession, he served over 40 people.”

R.H. told the police that he charged clients 300,000 IDR (17 GBP) for massages and that they never escalated to anything beyond that.

The sessions reportedly took place in his room at a boarding house and R.H. told the cops that he wore a hijab when welcoming clients and then lowered the lights to keep them fooled.

He told the police that he took the woman’s photo from Facebook as they used to be school pals, however when she learned of the misappropriation of her image, she called the cops.

R.H. said: “I only gave massages, I am very sorry.”

He currently remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
