Little Girl Receives Boots From Emergency Workers To Keep Warm

This is the moment emergency crews in Turkey hand out warm clothes to homeless children in evacuated areas after they lost everything in the earthquake.

In a video obtained by Newsflash from the General Commandership of the Gendarmerie of Turkey, a rescuer can be seen giving a little girl a pair of boots.

The girl, dressed in gray and pink clothing, appears to be having a shoe fitting while chatting with the rescuer.

One pair of brown boots laid in front of her was clearly a mis-match, so the rescuer hands her another pair of black ones for her to try out for size.

The little one happily obliges, and allows the rescuer to put them on her feet.

The General Commandership said in a short statement obtained by Newsflash: “Our children’s feet and our hearts were warmed. All Together [for] Turkey.”

A 7.7 and a 7.6-magnitude earthquakes struck Turkey in the early morning hours of 6th February.

As per the latest update by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, 35,418 have died in Turkey.

Along with more than 5,814 casualties in Syria, more than 41,000 people are confirmed dead.
