This pretty female radio host has reportedly been attacked by the owner of the station where she works as she was live on air – prompting a listener to call the police.

The incident took place in the city of San Juan in the province of the same name in the region of Cuyo in western Argentina when the Director of a radio station identified as Rodolfo Ridao, reportedly burst into studio in the middle of a programme and allegedly attacked the host, Claudia Vazquez.

Ridao, whose age has not been reported, allegedly shouted and insulted the host calling her a ‘b*tch’ and ‘rubbish’ before asking her to take her belongings and leave as Vazquez is said to have calmly asked him to let her finish the programme.

But Ridao shouted even more at her and she started to cry during the broadcast according to reports, leading to one listener reporting the case to the police.

The radio host told local media that the station owner’s threats then turned into physical aggression and she showed photos of the marks she had on her body saying “he grabbed me by the arms and scratched me.”

Ridao then allegedly threatened to kill her if she reported him. Vazquez, whose age was not reported either, says that her differences with Ridao come from financial issues in the management of the publicity of the radio station and the alleged jealousy of her employer’s wife towards her.

She said: “He always told me that he could not bring me money or papers in the morning because she is jealous, they always had problems, since eight years ago when I first went on the radio it has been like that and everyone who passed through the radio station knows it.”

She says that Ridao had claimed that she had been badmouthing his wife to another colleague the day before the alleged attack.

The police arrived at the scene when Vazquez was reportedly about to leave with her belongings.

She filed a complaint for gender violence and violence at work, according to reports.

Ridao, who assured that the host is a very violent person, said: “The audio that she published is totally edited.”

The authorities have reportedly issued an arrest warrant against him but have not found him yet.
