KNEESY DOES IT: Husband And Wife Synchronise Legs To Stop Baby Falling

These parents seem pretty laid-back when it comes to childcare.

They barely have to even shake a leg when their year-old tot takes a tumble from the sofa and stop the youngster with their feet without even looking up from their mobile phones.

A home surveillance camera caught the like-minded marital duo chilling with their baby at their home in the city of Weifang, in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong on 11th November.

The mother, Ms Jing, told local media that the family of three was relaxing on the couch after eating.

She and her husband were sitting on both ends of the couch scrolling on their phones while their baby was playing.

But as the tot tries to toddle on the sofa, it suddenly slips and falls down.

The footage shows Ms Jing and her husband stretching out their feet at the exact same second to catch the child while barely taking their eyes off their phones.

They immediately look at each other and giggle after realising they both acted in unison.

Ms Jing said that when she and her husband’s feet touched each other, they felt that they had a tacit understanding.

She later shared the video on Douyin – the Chinese version of TikTok – and the video divided netizens who have different kinds of opinions about the situation.

While some criticised the parents for appearing almost unbothered with their child, others said they fully understand the struggles of modern parenting.
