The groom – a farmer from Majalengka District, West Java Province known only as Kaan – told local media he is set to wed one of his exes because she is still ‘crazy’ about him.

He claims women are drawn to him because of his spiritual strength.

Kaan told local media: “I plan to marry my ex-wife from the 86th marriage.

“Even though we have been apart for a long time, the love between us is still strong and I refuse to play around with it.

“All this time, she is still ‘crazy’ about me even though we were only married for a month.”

Kaan told how he got a taste for marriage when he wed for the first time aged just 14 to a 16-year-old girl.

His first wife demanded a divorce two years later, by his own admission because of his poor attitude.

He was left feeling angry after the separation and sought ‘spiritual’ knowledge so many women would swoon at his feet.

But Kaan told local media: “However, I don’t want to do things that are not nice to the women I know and refuse to play with their feelings.

“Instead of committing immorality, it is better for me to get married.”

Under Indonesian law, divorces must be carried out before a court, therefore ‘private’ divorces without court involvement are not possible.

According to Law Jakarta, a legal services provider, it takes about six to nine months from the filing of a divorce for the court to come to a decision.
