This nerve-racking footage shows how a suited man jumped from dormer to dormer atop a skyscraper just inches away from a deadly drop.
The video was filmed from a nearby tall building in New York City, USA on 3rd October by Chicago-based freelance photographer Erik Ljung.
Erik told Newsflash he took the clip while he was “in New York on a job”. He said: “I recorded the video on Monday at 9.50am.”
Erik added: “The video was shot from the east side of the building of 200 Liberty. The building I’m filming is 90 West St. right next to the 9/11 Memorial.
“I looked out the window of the conference room we were in because our photographer was thinking of shooting in that room.
“And I looked out the window to see if there was going to be a break in the clouds, as it had been raining that morning.”
Erik told Newsflash: “When I looked out the window, I immediately saw him already out on the awnings jumping across.
“He hopped across to the corner of the building. It looked like he took some cell phone photos, made a call, and then hopped back in the direction he had come.”
Erik had posted the clip to social media, writing: “I have no idea what dude was doing. He was already hopping around from awning to awning when we first saw him.”
He added: “It was wet out and he was wearing dress shoes.”
Netizen ‘Jack Turner’ (@crackalacka) commented: “This is so bananas! Clearly he has done this before.”
While social media user ‘Lauren Barbara’ (@laupbar) wrote: “In my head I’m going to pretend he’s a stunt man and seeing if this is doable for a movie.”
And ‘Blycie’ (@blycie) joked: “This guy avoiding getting caught cheating for sure.”
