A Japanese adventure theme park has undergone a major upgrade during the COVID-19 pandemic and unveiled several new thrill rides that allow visitors to soar through the air at a safe social distance.

The Nesta Resort Kobe in the city of Miki in the southern Japanese prefecture of Hyogo will open their new exciting rides to the public tomorrow (17th July).

The new zip line attractions allow riders to zoom through the nature-adventure park like they are actually flying.

The Sky Hawk rail zip line course is 415 metres (1,362 feet) long and reaches speeds of up to 50 kph (31 mph) while soaring 32 metres (105 feet) above the ground.

The Sky Eagle ride, which covers a 560-metre (1,837-foot) long course, is considered more extreme.

Visitors will whizz along a zip line at speeds of up to 75 kph (47 mph) at a height of 57 metres (187 feet) above the ground.

The park will also unveil its new Canyon Slide and Canyon Drop attractions.

The Canyon slide allows thrill seekers to sled down a hill at high speeds while the Canyon Drop involved navigating three different courses while bobbing around in a giant ball.

The Nesta Resort Kobe will also be practicing social distancing and asking visitors to have their temperature checked upon arrival.

Guests will need to remain six feet apart from others and they will not be allowed to enter the park’s huge pool if there are already over 3,000 swimmers.
