Illegal Cannabis Farmers Caught After Trying To Escape Through Roof

Two men in the UK have been apprehended after they tried to escape through the roof as police raided their illegal cannabis factory.

Ledjon Petku, 19, and Alban Muca, 22, were caught when they climbed up into the loft and forced through the roof in a bid to avoid arrest on Tuesday, 14th November.

The two were arrested at a residence in Beckingham, Orton Goldhay, near the city of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, England, where they operated a GBP 44,520-worth cannabis factory with 53 plants.

Petky and Muca were sentenced to six months in prison after admitting to producing cannabis at the Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 29th November.

Officer Matthew Walker said in a statement obtained by Clipzilla: “The destruction that had happened to that house in order for it to be changed into a cannabis factory is extensive and will cost the homeowner a substantial amount for it to be restored.

“Cannabis factories are an issue to all communities, we as a force are continually working on tackling and disrupting them to ensure the drugs are taken off the streets and the people involved are brought to justice, anyone with information or concerns about drugs should report it to us.”
